British ice cream brand Jude’s has expanded its Little Jude’s line with the launch of two flavoured milks in chocolate and banana variants.
Using 100% naturally sourced ingredients, the milk is said to offer added health benefits having been made with added vitamin D and calcium.
With no refined sugar, the drinks have been naturally sweetened with honey to ensure sugar content is kept as low as possible.
The first Little Jude’s product launch was low-sugar milk lollies which were unveiled in September, aiming to offer a healthier range of kids’ ice creams.
Jude’s managing director Chow Mezger said: “It didn’t feel right for us to continue creating delicious ice cream for adults and not find something equally yummy for the kids.
“Following the success of our milk lollies, we realised the demand for natural, great-tasting wholesome milk products for families. Flavoured milk was an obvious next step for us and we are thrilled with the results. Securing a national listing for the launch was just fantastic and we look forward to hearing feedback.”
Both the chocolate and banana milks are available from 14 January with a recommended retail price of £1.25 for 180ml.
Jude’s was founded by a Hampshire dairy farmer in 2002 and the brand now sells over 15 flavoured ice creams, including peanut putter chocolate ripple and caramel pecan.
