Kellogg is expanding its cereal offering in the US with the introduction of Kellogg’s Special K Dipped Chocolatey Almond.
The new cereal features a multi-textured mix of ingredients, including multigrain flakes dipped in a chocolatey shell, cocoa-dusted flakes and sliced almonds.
Said to mark the first Kellogg’s dipped cereal flake product for the US market, the new offering is a source of fibre and other nutrients like vitamins A, C and E.
“At Kellogg’s Special K, we help cereal lovers do what’s delicious by providing them with a diverse range of flavourful and innovative products,” said Cindy Huntington, brand director at Kellogg Company.
“If you’re craving a deliciously unique, chocolatey experience, our dipped cereal is the perfect bowlful, easily enjoyed during breakfast or at any time of day.”
Kellogg’s Special K Dipped Chocolatey Almond will be available at retailers nationwide starting this month.
Last year, Kellogg introduced two new cereal products as part of its Special K and Frosted Mini-Wheats ranges, both of which feature whole grains.
