Lactalis Group has expanded its Président brand in the US with Gourmet Pairings, a range of spreadable cheese featuring flavoured toppings.
The line is suitable for dipping and spreading and three flavours are available: feta with roasted red pepper, blue cheese with caramelised onions, and aged white cheddar with apple chutney.
Lactalis said the product combines specialty cheese with desirable toppings, “making the art of pairing more convenient for those entertaining at home or simply looking for an accessible, yet indulgent snack”.
The ready-to-serve packaging is designed with a clear cut-out window for visible toppings.
Président senior marketing manager Faith Rutzen said: “Président is thrilled to offer a no-fuss option for stress-free entertaining with chef-inspired, paired toppings that are guaranteed to impress party guests.”
Earlier this year, Lactalis McLelland, the UK subsidiary of Lactalis Group, unveiled a new advertising campaign for Président as part of a repositioning of the brand.
Lactalis has carried out a series of acquisitions this year, including deals for yogurt brand Siggi’s, Aspen’s infant formula business and Nestlé’s Malaysian chilled dairy unit.
