New York-inspired restaurant Honky Tonk London has created a colossal six-inch bacon burger ahead of Super Bowl Sunday.
The Domo Linebacker bacon burger has been released in honour of the NFL championship game, which takes place on 7 February. It is packed with 1lb of organic beef and branded with the image of Japanese pop culture icon Domo in the shape of a football.
Each burger is made from two half-pound beef patties, which are then topped with melted Monterey Jack cheese, streaky maple bacon, plum tomatoes and lettuce – all served in a buttermilk-glazed bun.
A number of Domo collectables can also be won at Honky Tonk every time a Domo burger is purchased, simply by spinning the wheel of fortune on display in the restaurant and landing on Domo. Prizes include Domo hats, toys and accessories, the company said.
Honky Tonk founder Mark Cutler said: “NFL season gets bigger and busier every year in London, and at Honky Tonk we’re packed with customers wanting a genuine American dining experience while watching the Super Bowl. We’ve created Domo’s Linebacker bacon burger and are giving away prizes to add to the excitement.”
Each Domo Linebacker bacon burger costs £9.99 and they are available until Super Bowl Sunday, which falls on 7 February 2016.
