Vivagreen contains 30% fruit and is now available in apple-lemon flavour, with currant-grape and orange-lime variants to follow. Its low glycaemic index (GI) helps maintain a balanced blood glucose level, preventing hypoglycaemia, energy slumps and hunger pangs.
“Studies by Frankfurt’s Goethe-University sports medicine division, certify Vivagreen as having an officially low GI of 37.5, which is far below that of conventional, sugar-containing lemonades,” explains Viva Mangiare founder and manager, Ulrich Overdieck.
“Simply everything is right about this beverage: ingredients, taste and, last but not least, the package,” he added. “The Slim Can from Ball keeps the drink fresh and appeals to our target group. As a supplier of wellness products, we also consider it important that the beverage cans we use are completely recyclable and of value even after consumption. This helps avoid waste, reducing the CO2 emissions and impact on the environment.”
After a successful trial, Vivagreen is now sold through 50 company canteens in Germany.
