Malt loaf maker Soreen has expanded its product range within the breakfast category with the launch of Breakfast Bakes, the company’s first on-the-go breakfast product.
Launching in supermarkets this week, the Breakfast Bakes will come in three different flavours: apple and cinnamon, original malt and fruity five, all with a wholegrain oat topping and available in multipacks of five with a recommended retail price of £2.
Unlike other on-the-go breakfast products on the market, the snacks have a uniquely squidgy, soft texture and because they are freshly baked, will be sited in the bakery aisle alongside Soreen’s other products. They have been designed for pre-families and young families, with researching showing that 75% of 25-34 year olds eat breakfast out of home.
Soreen UK managing director Paul Tripp said: “This is the first on-the-go breakfast product from Soreen and it continues our investment in a long line of NPD to help meet consumer needs whilst on the go including pre-buttered snack packs and Lunchbox Loaves.
“With the introduction of Breakfast Bakes, we want to redefine the typically dry eating experience of breakfast bars with a product that has the unique Soreen texture that our customers enjoy.”
