He spent some time touring the premises and meeting the managing director, Mike Webb and the operations manager, Dave Gregory.
Patterson was interested to find out about the recent expansion of the company and how it has bucked all the trends in doubling its capacity and creating new jobs during the current economical climate.
Natural Welsh Water is on course to expand and become a national brand over the next few years, through its franchise arm of the business Water Cooler World.
This is good news locally as this expansion is creating local jobs as each new franchisee comes on board due to the centralised sales team that they employ to support the franchisees, the company said.
Patterson was also fascinated to learn that keeping the body well hydrated made a workforce up to 10% more efficient and also helped children by making them more attentive and better behaved in school, so drinking more water could in fact help the whole economy.
