Italian coffee chain operator Segafredo Zanetti has reached a deal with Indonesian operator PT Deli Boga Rasa for 80 additional coffee shops in the country.
PT Deli Boga Rasa, which Segafredo Zanetti describes as a partner that with vast experience in the food and beverage sector, will be the master franchise in Indonesia. It will open the first coffee shop as soon as Indonesia’s authorities approve the registration of the franchise.
This partnership will lead to the opening of over 80 Segafredo Zanetti cafés throughout Indonesia over the coming years.
Segafredo Zanetti is part of the Mazzimo Zanetti Beverage Group (MZBG), which altogether operates 18 facilities throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, and has a network of around 400 coffee shops throughout 50 different countries.
Pascal Héritier, chief operating officer of MZBG in charge of the development of Asia-Pacific and cafés, said: “Needless to say, this appointment is essential for the development of our group in Indonesia. It represents another milestone for the basics of an extensive business in Indonesia, a country that offers magnificent opportunities to us. We are all very excited by this new co-operation and look forward to the opening of the first café.”
