PepsiCo-owned Naked Juice has launched a lower-sugar smoothie line in the UK as a response to demands for reduced-calorie drinks.
Naked Lean is available in three flavours: watermelon and raspberry, kiwi and cucumber, and peach and ginger.
With no added sugar or preservatives, and a source of Vitamin C, each smoothie variant has 42 calories or less per 150ml serving.
“Research shows that consumers are becoming more conscious of their sugar and calorie intake when buying drinks,” said Charlotte Ashburner, senior marketing manager at PepsiCo.
“We created the Naked Lean range with these sugar-conscious consumers in mind, providing a healthier option without compromising on great taste.”
The smoothies have a recommended retail price of £2.60 for 360ml bottles and £3.98 for 750ml bottles.
