Culligan-owned Quench has acquired Florida-based water dispenser provider LaPure Water, marking Quench’s ninth acquisition of 2021.
LaPure Water is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. The firm distributes a range of mains-fed water systems and bottled water dispensers to customers in the region.
Financial details of the purchase were not disclosed by either company.
This latest addition forms part of Quench’s overarching acquisition strategy, which has seen the company rapidly expand its dealer network and customer base.
Notable acquisitions include the purchase of Rhode Island’s Eastern Pure Water in May, Chicago-based water dispenser firm Magic Pure in April, the takeover of Trusource H2O Canada in February and the acquisition of mains-fed water dispenser firm Get Filtered in January.
Todd Peterson, COO of Quench, said: “We are thrilled to welcome LaPure Water to the Quench family.
“This acquisition is our ninth already in 2021 and it adds density in the fast-growing Tampa/Clearwater metropolitan area, enhancing our customer support capability in this important market.”
Dave Alexander, owner of LaPure Water, added: “This is a great day for our customers.
“Quench is known for their state-of-the-art products and world-class customer service, so they were the natural acquirer for us. The Quench team has been a pleasure to work with throughout this process.”
