Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig has announced an exclusive partnership with Total Beverage Solutions (TBS) to expand the popularity of its range of premium ciders in the US.
After successful launches in ten US markets, Rekorderlig has appointed TBS to grow a national market presence for the brand from this month.
“Building on the success of Rekorderlig in major global hard cider markets like the UK and Australia, we are now focused on global expansion and continuing to strengthen our premium fruit cider brand within the US,” said Gareth Whittle, co-founder of Chilli Marketing, Rekorderlig’s global marketing and distribution partner.
According to data from Mintel, the US cider sector has experienced impressive growth, with volume sales growing fivefold between 2010 and 2015.
“In order to help take our brand to the next level, we knew we needed a partner who not only had a strong influence in driving distribution in the US market, but who also share the same commitment as Chilli Marketing to building long term brand equity,” continued Whittle. “We believe Total Beverage Solution is the right partner to help our brand succeed to its fullest potential.”

Since launching in New York in October 2013, the fruit-based cider has found popularity among consumers across the US. Offering 4.5% ABV, Rekorderlig’s cider is available in a selection of four flavours: pear, strawberry-lime, wild berry and passionfruit.
