Sparkling water brand S.Pellegrino has launched a new limited edition bottle design in collaboration with fashion magazine Vogue Italia.
The 75cl bottle has been made available at Harrods food hall, and in bars and restaurants nationwide where S.Pellegrino is already sold. It features new illustrations that fuse the disciplines of fashion and cuisine, as well as commemorative text on the bottleneck label.
It commemorates the final of the Italian bottled water brand’s young chef competition, which will be held in Milan later this year. Winners of the competition’s regional heats will be paired up with a group of emerging fashion designers, leading to one being named S.Pellegrino young chef of the year 2015. Vogue Italia will also name a most talented designer at the Expo Milano in June.
In February, the company announced that Mark Moriarty would represent the UK and Ireland region in the global finals, after The Culinary Counter chef won a live cook-off in front of a panel of renowned industry professionals.
S.Pellegrino said: “The limited edition bottle has been created to celebrate the worldwide partnership between the two ambassadors of Italian style and art of living – Vogue Italia and S.Pellegrino. Together, the influential and international fashion magazine and the water synonymous with fine dining will join forces to develop a unique project combining two Italian excellences – food and style.”
