Italian machinery manufacturer Sacmi will launch a new range of labelling machines, designed to enhance the flexibility and production efficiency of bottlers and manufacturers in the winemaking industry.
The Kube range of machines includes Kube K30 720 9T, a labelling unit featuring two self-adhesive labelling stations and one cold glue station. It can turn out up to 9,000 bottles per hour and is characterised by its extreme user-friendliness and low maintenance requirements, Sacmi said, thanks to labelling stations on the outside of the carousel.
The machine can accept up to five stations for up to five separate labelling applications in a single bottle passage through the machine.
Provided with an electronic cam plate control system on which motion can be programmed according to the type of application, the new KUBE K30 720 9T labeller is equipped with a universal screw feeder, controlled by a brushless motor, for flexible and efficient handling of all bottle types with a diameter of between 60mm and 120mm.
Thanks to the advanced management software, the machine can also be controlled remotely from any device connected to the company’s network.
Sacmi described it as “a flexible and highly innovative product, intended to specifically cater for the needs of still and sparkling wine producers”.
