US-based pork producer Seaboard Foods has appointed Darwin Sand as its new president and CEO, following the retirement of its former CEO Terry J. Holton.

Sand has worked in the pork industry for over 30 years and has held several positions at Seaboard over the last 22 years.
Sand joined the brand in 1996, and most recently operated as the brand’s senior vice-president of sales.
Prior to assuming this position, Sand also worked as vice-president of international sales at the company, where he was responsible for the brand’s pork export business.
