Soup brand Glorious! has added a taste of the American South to its SkinnyLicious range, with the launch of its new Texan four bean chilli soup.
With fewer than 100 calories per portion, the new variant combines haricot, red kidney, black eye and black turtle beans with a blend of ancho chilli, paprika and cinnamon. The exciting new soup has been made available through British supermarket chain Asda, with a recommended retail price of £1.98 for a 600g pot.
Texan four bean chilli joins the new limited edition Vietnamese supergreen soup launched in January as part of Glorious!’s SkinnyLicious range of chilled and healthy soups.
Claire Roper, brand innovation manager for Glorious!, said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing the taste of Texas to our SkinnyLicious range. Our chefs have created a soup that captures the spirit and bold flavours of the Texan deep south whilst maintaining the healthy goodness of our SkinnyLicious soups. This delicious new soup will put the Yee-Haw into any January health eating plan!”
