Its ‘big pot’ Nectarine & Passion Fruit, Apple & Blackcurrant and Sweet & Sour Cherry flavours have launched in around 400 Jumbo stores across the Netherlands.
“We’ve been extremely well received by Belgian customers and this latest contract with Jumbo opens up a whole new market for us in the Netherlands,” said founder Peter Duncan. “Our yogurt is entirely natural, packed with 25% fruit and free of any additives or thickeners. We think this helps us to stand out on the Continent and offer something really unique.
“Speaking a bit of Dutch really helps om het ijs te breken (to break the ice),” he added. “People never expect a Brit to speak the language, as so many people over there speak English, but the effort always goes down well.”
