Drinks brand The Berry Company has launched its first on-the-go drink for children, in a bid to bolster its position in the children’s beverage space.
The new range is available in three flavours – super duper fruit punch, cheeky little berries and berry good lemonade – and has been specifically created to meet demand from parents who want a low-in-sugar soft drink option.
The range consists of not-from-concentrate juice, which is rich in vitamin C, and contains no added sugar with just 1.7g of total sugars in every 100ml carton – half the amount of other leading children’s juice brands, The Berry Company said.
The Berry Company CEO Khaled Yafi said: “We’ve grown our range of drinks over the last few years, meeting the needs of families and adults looking for a soft fruit juice to enjoy at home or on-the-go, so it made complete sense to take our range to a younger demographic.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created and having a new range, which parents can trust and children can enjoy, is incredibly satisfying. The three new flavours we have are packaged perfectly for lunchboxes, picnic hampers and cool boxes – and are something we can see as the next step in our company’s evolution.”
