Tommy’s Superfoods – the US producer of pre-seasoned, “flash-frozen” superfoods – has announced the addition of four new blends to its line-up of nutrient-dense and ready-to-eat side dishes.
The four new variants consist of natural greens with uncured bacon, cauliflower and green beans, root vegetable fusion, and asparagus with uncured bacon.
Along with the new products, Tommy’s Superfoods has also updated its offering with a new low-sodium recipe that offers consumers a healthier option, while still maintaining the same taste that the brand has become known for. The new products will hit store shelves across the US at the end of April.
Tommy’s Superfoods flash freezes produce at the peak of ripeness to lock in freshness and nutrients. Each BPA-free steam bag of superfoods is easy to cook and offers consumers an easy, low-calorie entrée or side dish. Made with all-natural ingredients and offering non-GMO verified options, their updated low-sodium recipe contains less than 140mg per serving, the brand said, and the newly introduced uncured bacon – used in the asparagus with uncured bacon, and natural greens with uncured bacon blends – is all-natural and hormone-free.
