Premium sausage brand Debbie & Andrew’s has introduced new caramelised red onion pork sausages that are wheat-, gluten- and dairy-free.
The new sausages combine prime cuts of British pork, caramelised red onion, Balsamic vinegar and a secret blend of warming spices such as nutmeg. The brand has suggested that the new range will be equally as appealing to those that suffer from common food intolerances as it will to sausage lovers; it claimed that as many as one fifth of UK consumers were lactose intolerant, and 15% of British households seek to avoid consuming gluten for either health- or lifestyle-related reasons.
