Chocolate brand Elizabeth Shaw has launched a new consumer campaign that will begin by offering consumers the chance to nominate somebody to receive free chocolates.
The first phase of the brand’s Making Every Moment Special campaign will see the launch of a new website, where consumers can submit details of a friend or relative who is celebrating a special occasion such as a wedding, birthday or birth of a child. Nominees will be in with a chance of winning a luxurious hamper from Elizabeth Shaw, along with a handwritten note; three winners will be selected every week for the next six months.
The brand will accompany the competition with activity on social media and new product developments that align with its Making Every Moment Special initiative.
The campaign has been designed to tap into the market for year-round chocolate consumption and follows extensive research into the times and emotions associated with chocolate consumption.
Elizabeth Shaw product manager Hayley Coggins said: “Eating chocolate is a special moment, it is that time when we sit and enjoy something which makes us feel great, it can happen anytime and anywhere. At Elizabeth Shaw we want to bring together chocolate with special moments in a person’s life and have created a campaign to make every moment special, celebrating these life moments.”
