Hotel Chocolat adds new pineapple drinking chocolate to range

UK chocolate brand Hotel Chocolat has added a brand-new limited-edition flavour, Caramelised Pineapple, to its range of drinking chocolates. Caramelised Pineapple features subtle notes of pineapple combined with creamy caramel-milk chocolate. The product comes in single-serve sachets that can be whipped into a smooth drink in Hotel Chocolat’s Velvetiser hot chocolate machine.

The Velvetiser was developed to enable consumers to create barista-grade drinks at home, which can be personalised with different milk types including plant-based alternatives. Hotel Chocolat’s drinking chocolates can be served hot or over ice. Alongside the new flavour, the brand is bringing back a previous popular offering for a limited time, Banoffee Pie, inspired by the classic British summer dessert and featuring butterscotch with real banana. Both limited-edition innovations launched on 4 April 2024 exclusively for Hotel Chocolat’s VIP Me members, before launching to all customers in-store, online and in Hotel Chocolat’s Velvetiser Cafés from 8 April. They are priced at £13.50.
