Coconut ice cream brand CocoNuts has launched a new four-flavour range, which will be widely available to order through wholesaler and distributor Queenswood Natural Foods.
The ice cream is available in raw chocolate, coconut caramel, sumptuous strawberry and mint choc chip varieties – all made using luxurious coconut cream and sweetened with pure coconut sugar. The Cornish-based company doesn’t put any added colours or artificial flavours into its products, and the flavour ingredients are never heated so that the health benefits of ingredients such as raw cacao in the chocolate, spirulina in the mint choc chip, and vitamins from perfectly ripe strawberries are locked in.
All the ingredients, it said, are organic and CocoNuts adds a little bit of plant-sourced xanthan gum and Himalayan mineral salt for extra thickness, mineral profile and taste.
The vegan-friendly products are available in newly redesigned 500ml tubs, with clear colour differentiation between the four variants. The company currently distributes the range, along with a line of yogurt, to health food shops, cafés, restaurants and hotels across South West England.
