A2 Milk has released two new skimmed and semi-skimmed long-life milk variants, further supporting the long-life dairy alternatives category.
The brand is from naturally occurring cows’ milk containing only the a2 protein, and not the a1 protein, making it more easily digestible. New 1 litre long-life skimmed and semi-skimmed a2 milk will make its debut through online supermarket Ocado this month with an introductory price of £1, with a later recommended retail price of £1.39.
The UHT milks are Tetra packed to preserve the natural goodness and special benefits of the unique cows’ milk, the brand said, and designed to bring consumers who are seeking a more easily digestible milk back to dairy.
A2 Milk Company UK and China CEO Scott Wotherspoon said: “Since launching in the UK, consumer demand for a long life a2 Milk product has been unprecedented. We have listened and responded and are now incredibly proud to support a whole new dairy category with this high value, high margin product range.”
