The new packaging was designed by Elmwood in Leeds and is intended to reflect the qualities of the product, while adding a sense of fun and entertainment with the use of cheeky, creamy faces, which put more personality into the brand.
“Our redesign gives people permission to have fun with food,” said Elmwood brand consultant, Simon Preece. “It’s an antidote to the diet controls we have today.”
Ed Steele, assistant brand manager at Anchor, said: “Consumer research has shown that our consumers love Anchor Squirty Cream and that’s what we want to shout about. The pack now has real stand-out and reflects the fun and involving nature of the product.”
