The new 75g box holds 15 individual packs, each containing two of the premium cookies, which can be broken open to reveal a hidden message. The new format, which retails at £1.99, is already proving popular with consumers from across the UK as they seek some good fortune in the current economic climate.
“The credit crunch means more people are eating at home rather than dining out at restaurants,” said Sandy Lathia, UK manager for Asiana. “Beijing Gold Cookies are already popular with our restaurant and takeaway client base in the original 2.25kg pack, but now they can be used to provide some light-hearted fun at the end of a home-cooked meal.”
The Fortune Cookies are the latest addition to the successful Beijing Gold range, which also includes Beijing Gold Premium Beer and Beijing Gold Prawn Crackers.
