Swiss chocolatier SIA Chocolette Confectionary has launched its Red range of low-calorie chocolates in the UK, and the new line will include both chocolate bars and gift boxes.
Chocolate used in the Red chocolate bar range is naturally-sweetened with ingredients sourced from plants and fruit such as stevia, erythritol and maltitol, and the company claims that chocolate in the chocolate bar range contains between 17-23 calories per piece.
Four flavours are available in the chocolate bar range: Milk chocolate with a nut filling, hazelnut and macadamia milk chocolate, extra dark chocolate, and orange and almond dark chocolate.
A praline box is also available, which features 12 chocolates containing 42 calories per chocolate.
Chocolette Confectionary will also launch a marketing campaign to promote the launch of the new products, which will include both TV and social media advertising.
Alex Tyumenin, managing director of Chocolette Confectionary said: “We are very excited to see our first listing in the UK with this unique premium product range.
“It is a delicious tasting product and is also good for you, which we hope will capture the attention of chocolate lovers across the UK.“
The full Red confectionery range is available from WHSmith stores nationwide. The bars have a suggested retail price of £2.49 and the praline box has a suggested retail price of £4.99.
