British chocolate brand Doisy & Dam has entered the sharing market with the launch of its Snaps range.
The Snaps feature thin and irregular shards of chocolate that are designed to deliver “maximum melt, flavour and texture in every single bite” and are sold in resealable pouches to encourage portion control.
The line is available in two flavours: maple, toasted rice and pink salt; and coconut and lucuma. Each 100g bag retails at £3.
Doisy & Dam co-founder Ed Smith said: “It’s great to kick off the year by bringing something completely new and innovative into the confectionery category. Our Snaps have been designed to offer consumers a delicious, new taste experience and with premiumisation and pouches the two key trends driving the category, our Snaps will meet the needs of retailers as well as consumers.“
“The top reasons for purchasing chocolate in order are: to treat oneself, to take home to share and for special occasions – and our Snaps are perfect for all these occasions.”
Last year, the brand launched a limited-edition crunchy almond butter chocolate bar as well as new packaging across its full range.
