Hostess Brands and Nestlé USA have joined forced for the launch of new brownie bars made with Butterfinger candy pieces.
The companies said they are responding to growing consumer demand for brownies as well as the ever-popular chocolate and peanut butter flavour combination.
The bars are said to feature a ‘rich, mouth-watering brownie, fully enrobed in high-quality fudge coating and Butterfinger candy bar pieces generously sprinkled on top’.
Hostess Brands chief marketing officer Burke Raine said: “As we continue our chocolate peanut butter innovation streak, the brownie segment brings even more opportunities to get creative with our expanding portfolio.
“By pairing the crispety, crunchety, peanut-buttery taste of Butterfinger with our indulgent and delicious brownies, we are bringing two powerhouses together.”
Hostess brownies made with Butterfinger candy pieces, developed through a licensing partnership between Hostess and Nestlé, are available in multipack and single-serve formats in stores across the US.
