Kiva Confections has introduced CBN its it first product as part of its Camino cannabis-infused gummy range to help consumers sleep.
According to Kiva, CBN is becoming the next big cannabinoid, but has never been infused into an edible before. Kiva searched for nine months to find the right supplier for its gummies.
Camino Midnight Blueberry, also nicknamed Sleep, offers a combination of 5mg of THC with 1mg of CBN, plant-based terpenes, and chamomile and lavender oils.
“With over a third of all Americans sleep deprived, it became clear that there was a need for a product that enabled people to rest and recover from their busy lives,” says Kiva CEO and co-founder Scott Palmer.
Palmer added: “CBN is a prevalent cannabinoid (similar to CBD) that has been linked with restful effects. We formulated a THC, CBN and terpene blend with functional ingredients added to offer our consumers our most calming product yet.”
The new gummy adds to Kiva’s existing range that includes Wild Berry (Chill), Sparkling Pear (Social) and Pineapple Habanero (Uplifting).
In addition to its CBN-infused edible, Kiva has launched two more Camino flavours to its gummy range: Freshly Squeezed (Recover) and Wild Cherry (Excite).
Freshly Squeezed features a blend of 1mg THC and 9mg CBD with terpenes, ginseng and milk thistle. Meanwhile, Wild Cherry contains 5mg THC and a blend of sativa terpenes with notes of tart cherry.
Kiva’s Camino Gummies will be available for an RRP of $18 per tin across California.
