Kraft Heinz and Oprah Winfrey have collaborated to create a new range of premium frozen pizzas for the US market through their Mealtime Stories joint venture.
The O, That’s Good! Frozen Pizza line marks the second collaboration between the company and Winfrey, following the introducing of a soup and sides range in 2017.
Four pizzas are available in the range: Pepperoni, five cheese, supreme, and fire roasted veggie.
One-third of the crust is made with cauliflower, and the pizzas contain no artificial flavours or colours.
Christopher Urban, head of Mealtime Stories at Kraft Heinz said: “At Kraft Heinz, we understand that the trifecta of great taste, real ingredients and convenience in food options is nearly impossible to find.
“After the success of O, That’s Good! Refrigerated Soups and Sides, we wanted to bring excitement to the pizza category and give families even more delicious options to please everyone at the dinner table.”
Winfrey added: “Pizza is a favourite, fun and easy food to share with family and friends.
“I am always looking to add a nutritious twist to my foods, so we made part of the crust in my new pizza with cauliflower while maintaining that classic, cheesy pizza flavour you and your family love.”
The O, That’s Good! Frozen Pizza range will be available nationwide from US retailers, with a suggested retail price of $6.99 per pizza.
