Mars-owned M&M’s has expanded its confectionery range by creating a new white chocolate peanut flavour for the US market, which will be released later this year.
M&M’s launched a white chocolate flavour last year to meet the increased consumer demand for white chocolate products, and this new peanut flavour has also been launched to capitalise on this trend.
M&M’S White Chocolate Peanut will feature peanuts covered in white chocolate and the signature colourful shells of the M&M’s brand.
Three different sizes of the flavour will be available: A single-serve packet, with an RRP of $0.99 a sharing size ($1.69) and a large sharing bag ($3.39).
Allison Miazga-Bedrick, brand director, M&M’S said: “We’ve witnessed the demand for white chocolate growing at a rate more than three times that of other chocolate flavours.
“In response, we introduced M&M’S White Chocolate last year to excite and delight not only our M&M’S fans, but all chocolate lovers.
“We were amazed to see the positive response and we’re thrilled to now add white chocolate to a fan favourite variety, peanut.”
M&M’S White Chocolate Peanut will be available nationwide from US retailers later this year.
