Powdered food producer Huel is aiming to build on its year-on-year growth with the introduction of new Flavour Boosts.
The company, which was launched in 2015 and has since sold over 5 million meals worldwide, wants to allow consumers customise their Huel powders. The British producer claims its nutritionally complete powdered food contains all the proteins, carbs and fats needed for a healthy diet, plus ‘at least 100% of the European Union’s daily recommended amounts’.
Head of partnerships at Huel Ben Moser said: “Huel products have really struck a chord in supplying a healthy meal solution to the busy lives of our target market. We have broadened our range, with our newly-launched bar and Flavour Boosts, to make healthy complete nutrition even more convenient.”
It is hoped the Flavour Boosts will be popular with customers who want to try the full Huel range without buying larger pouches. Included in the set are 2-3g samples of all nine flavours which are designed to be mixed with both vanilla and unflavoured Huel. Flavours included are: strawberry, toffee, mocha, rhubarb and custard, pineapple and coconut, banana, chocolate, cacao, and matcha tea.
All Huel products are completely vegan and one 500 calorie meal costs £1.61.
