Müller is looking to capitalise on the growing demand for Skyr products in the UK with a new range of Müller Corner yogurts.
Müller Corner Icelandic Style Skyr is available in three variants: raspberry and hazelnut granola, nuts and chocolate coated balls granola, and banana and almond granola.
With claims to be the largest ever Müller Corner yogurt, the new product contains 13g of protein.
The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign starring brand ambassador, athlete Dina Asher-Smith.
“Demand for Skyr products continues to grow and we know that taste is by far the most important factor when choosing yogurts,” said Michael Inpong, strategy and marketing director at Müller Yogurt & Desserts.
He added: “We’ve already seen with the success of Müller Corner Creations that formats like split-pots can deliver growth if the idea is strong enough. So, we’re excited to introduce a new generation of Müller Corner to the established split pot market.
“Müller Corner has been on UK supermarket shelves for over 30 years, so we’re shaking it up by making it deliciously thick, bigger and with a transparent Corner so that shoppers can see the high quality, delicious whole nuts and granola inclusions.”
With the release, Müller is continuing its strategy to add inspiration to its core range of branded yogurts, Müllerlight and Müller Corner, as it targets category growth. Last year, Müller launched its first yogurt in the UK that is served with pretzels, Müller Corner Creations Pretzel Party.
Müller Corner Icelandic Style Skyr is available to purchase now in Morrisons and Co-op, and in Tesco, Asda and Waitrose in July, for an RRP of £1.50 per single pot.
