Natural energy brand Scheckter’s Organic Energy has released two new flavours and a sweeping brand redesign.
The latest additions to the Scheckter’s Organic Energy range are new green tea and mint, and green tea and ginger flavours. Both variants are the perfect combination of cane sugar, lemon juice, green tea extract, guarana, caramel and ginseng – all organic – with sparkling filtered water and vitamin C.
The green tea ginger variety is flavoured with organic ginger extract, giving it a delicious and zingy taste; while the green tea mint drink has organic spearmint extract for a particulary refreshing taste.
Alongside the release of new flavours, Scheckter’s Organic Energy’s packaging has taken on a new design to challenge the category. The new can graphics, designed by Magic8Ball, are inspired by traditional and artisanal food packaging and will enable the brand look to be closer to its organic credentials, Scheckter’s said. It will also add a level of sophistication to the cans that is missing from the energy drink sector, it added.
Featuring a craft paper background and a bold O to represent organic, the new Scheckter’s cans are designed to have exceptional standout on shelf. The new can graphics also use a colour code to help differentiate between the four different variants: red for original, grey for lite, green for green tea and mint, and orange is ginger.
Scheckter’s CEO and co-founder Charles Phillips said: “We were the first to market as an innovator in the space of organic energy. We want to ensure we offer consumers a great tasting, refreshing and healthier way to energise, as well as provide retailers with an added volume and revenue opportunity. With the new packaging and new flavours, we expect to further the growth of our brand and lead this new premium category of adult functional soft drinks.”
The new packaging will roll out in late March 2016 across the UK, Netherlands, United States and South Africa where the brand is widely available.
