First launched in 1908, the Bournville range currently comprises 45g and 200g formats, with Bournville 200g the bestselling dark chocolate SKU in the UK.
The new 100g tablet aims to encourage new customers to try dark chocolate through a more accessible purchase point. This latest addition to the range is available at £1.42 RRP.
Matthew Williams, marketing director at Mondele?z International, said: “Bournville is already worth £12m with only two formats, and we’re hoping to grow sales even further with the latest addition to the family. The 100g format is a great fit for smaller households or to share with a partner, while the 200g is ideal for larger families and cooking.
