Artisan chocolate brand Choc on Choc has released three new chocolate bars decorated with the faces of the leaders of the UK’s three main political parties, ahead of the country’s general election next month.
The new bars feature caricatures of Conservative prime minister David Cameron, Liberal Democrat deputy prime minister Nick Clegg and the leader of the opposition, the Labour party’s Ed Miliband, using milk and white chocolate. The trio are considered the most likely candidates to form the UK’s next government when Britons next go to the polls on 7 May.
Available for a limited time with a recommended retail price of £3.99, the bars are made using Choc on Choc’s patented production method. They contain blueberry pieces, honeycomb chunks and a red raspberry flavour respectively, representing the colours of the parties these politicians represent.
Choc on Choc founder Flo Broughton comments: “Choc on Choc is celebrating the British election by inviting consumers to vote with their stomachs and take part in our edible poll.
“Our team of chocolatiers has created three unique bars, each bearing the face of either Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg or David Cameron. Shoppers can visit our website and vote which politician they want to see in Downing Street after the 7 May by purchasing the corresponding chocolate bar.”
