The Irish butter producers have teamed up with the fashion designer to transform its golden packaging with a refined ‘catwalk’ chic.
Orla, famed ‘the queen of prints’, has adapted her flower hallmark to give Kerrygold a new limited edition designer sheen.
The flowers depicted are a reflection of a lush, Irish meadow, and the colour palette used – faun, green and shades of cream – has been selected to complement the inspiration of a meadow while staying true to Kerrygold’s green and gold signature colours.
The limited edition packs will run across Kerrygold’s 250g Salted Block, 400g Spreadable and 250g Softer products for eight weeks from 1 October 2014.
Kerrygold is also offering the chance to win Orla Kiely kitchen items every week as part of an on-pack promotion running across the limited edition packs.
“Orla is an Irish icon just like Kerrygold,” said Michael Harper, director of brands at Adams Foods. “She was the natural choice when selecting someone special to give our famous pack an iconic new look.
“Orla loves our meadow milk proposition and used it as inspiration when adapting her hallmark floral prints to represent the famous Kerrygold branding. We’re delighted with the results and we’re sure our fans and customers will be, too.”
