Pecan Deluxe Candy has announced the launch of new range of popping candy inclusions, which can be used as a topping to ice cream, bakery products, chilled and frozen desserts, or cocktails.
Available in milk, white and dark chocolate variants, the pieces can be specified as clusters or pips between 2mm and 6mm in size. Described as “delicious and unusually versatile”, they are packaged in a bulk bag format with weights ranging from 200g all the way up to 1kg.
The latest addition to the Pecan Deluxe range, they follow the recent introduction of new and indulgent cookie dought flavours, as well as the launch of soft-centred chocolate cups and shapes.
Pecan Deluxe managing director Graham Kingston said: “Pecan Deluxe is constantly innovating to meet demand from manufacturers for new flavour and texture options, and our new popping candy range will open up exciting new opportunities in ice cream, desserts, bakery and cereals – a fascinating combination of sectors with massive potential.
“Popping candy offers so many opportunities to dessert and bakery manufacturers: thanks to our ongoing investment in product development, it is stable in use whether frozen, chilled or at ambient temperature. Pecan Deluxe is constantly leading the way in product innovation and this additional range will only serve to increase our already unrivalled selection of inclusions for all markets.”
