Pernod Ricard has expanded its Kahlúa coffee liqueur range with the launch of a new flavour, Kahlúa Blonde Roast Style, in the US.
With an ABV of 20%, the new variant is made with medium roast coffee and features hints of caramel, toffee and citrus flavours. It is best served with tonic or coconut water, according to Pernod Ricard.
Offering a sweet, refreshing taste, the new Kahlúa liqueur also aims to target the trend for at-home cocktail making.
“As the world’s number one coffee liqueur, Kahlúa is always tapping into coffee culture trends and looking for ways to inspire coffee lovers at their next brunch or after-work hangout,” said Troy Gorczyca, US brand director at Kahlúa.
“Plus, we are known to make delicious coffee cocktails and this taps into the growing trends around more light coffee cocktails, so Kahlúa Blonde Roast Style was a natural next step for us as a brand.”
Kahlúa Blonde Roast Style is available nationwide in the US. The new Kahlúa launch follows the introduction of a ready-to-drink nitro cold brew coffee cocktail earlier this year.
