US-based Perry’s Ice Cream has launched a sorbet-swirled frozen yogurt line, created using probiotic frozen yogurt combined with natural fruit and vegetable juices.
Four Frozen Yogurt Swirled with Sorbet varieties are now available, including two tub flavours – strawberry tang twist and berry grape twist – and two Yo Buddie Bars – raspberry watermelon and berry grape – that are available in single-serve packs of six bars.
The vegetable juices in the products contain sweet potato, purple carrot and carrot. Perry’s said the live and active cultures in the yogurt have natural digestive health benefits and are gluten-free.
“Leading with the exploding trend in probiotics, coupled with Perry’s passion for innovation, we’ve created an irresistible line-up,” said Gayle Perry Denning, Perry’s Ice Cream vice president of strategic branding and corporate sustainability.
“These products are accessible for health-minded foodies, parents seeking healthier snack options for their children and traditional frozen yogurt consumers alike.
“Our blends of frozen yogurt with unique sorbet combinations are great as bars, scooped for cones and bowls, or used as a smoothie base.”
Perry’s Frozen Yogurt Swirled with Sorbet is available at retailers across the east coast of the US. The tubs retail for $6.99 and the Yo Buddie Bars for $4.29.
