Purity Soft Drinks has expanded its Juiceburst core range of with the addition of a pink lemonade juice drink.
Made using real raspberries and lemons, the new beverage provides consumers with one of their five daily recommended portions of fruit and vegetables, and will launch exclusively in health and beauty retailer Superdrug in time for summer. “The variant has been specifically created to appeal to female soft drink buyers and give the brand a broader offering among its core flavours,” Juiceburst said.
Three years ago, the brand pledged to reduce sugar levels across its core range by an average of 19%. Last year, the company launched Juiceburst Skinny with less than 100 calories per bottle, and its Juiceburst no added sugar variant was introduced specifically to meet changing legislation in the schools market.
Purity Soft Drinks marketing director Jon Evans said: “We’re delighted to be introducing Pink Lemonade to our range of tasty juices and juice drinks. Research we commissioned this year shows that 70% of juice drink consumers value taste as the most important factor when considering a juice drink. This is why we have invested so much in developing Juiceburst recipes that consistently outperform the competition.”
