British brand Real Handful has made its debut into the kid’s snacking market with the launch of Bundlz yogurt-coated clusters.
The range features oats, cereal and raisins and is available in two flavours: strawberry and raspberry yogurt, and apple and blackberry yogurt.
Reflecting the recent Real Handful rebrand, the packaging aims to bring to life the brand’s personality and features hand-drawn character illustrations and bold colours.
Real Handful was first launched to market by Joe Taylor in 2016, who has since been joined by his wife Carly, previously head of marketing at The Authentic Food Company.
Carly Taylor said: “We’ve spent two years developing and trialling Bundlz and can’t wait to launch, grow and continue to develop this range. As parents of three busy boys, we were always looking for convenient but better-for-them treats to keep them fuelled.
“We noticed a real gap in the market for fruit- and yogurt-based snacks that are not only fun and delicious but use real fruit rather than fruit pulp and less yogurt. Introducing the crispy texture of cereal and oats makes Bundlz a unique and fun snack to enjoy and also helps add more fibre whilst reducing the overall sugar level.”
Joe Taylor added: “The reaction from kids, parents and customers so far has been overwhelmingly positive. We are delighted to be working with Sainsbury’s for this nationwide rollout and have exciting plans to innovate further in this space.”
The Bundlz range is now available at Sainsbury’s stores and will be sold at Ocado from the end of January.
Last year, Real Handful introduced two plant-based protein bars in the UK.
