Keto and Co has announced the release of its Sated keto shake mix in a new ready-to-drink format, as it aims to fill the space for convenient low-carb, keto foods.
According to Keto and Co, the launch marks its Sated brand as the first nutritionally complete ketogenic meal-in-a-bottle to hit the market.
Keto and Co’s research showed that the 15-25 million people in the US following a keto diet recognised a lack of quick convenient keto food options. While Sated has offered a mix-it-yourself version of its keto shake for several years, with its new format it intends to meet consumer demand for convenience.
The release of the US company’s shake was funded by its Kickstarter campaign that launched in August last year in which it raised over $200,000, marking the fourth largest food product Kickstarter to date.
Keto and Co CEO Ted Tieken said: “The anticipation we’ve seen for Sated ready-to-drink has been incredible. We’re thrilled to be bringing it to our backers, our customers, and to a national market that is growing ever more carb and health conscious.”
The brand’s latest shakes offer consumers 1.2-1.5g carbohydrates per bottle and 18g of protein, with the ‘the nutrition of a balanced meal’ that ‘ keep you fuller longer’.
Sated ready-to-drink shakes contains a blend of 27 essential vitamins and minerals with prebiotic fibre for gut health and omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.
Naturally sweetened with a blend of monk fruit, fibre and erythritol, Sated offers its shake in two flavours: chocolate and vanilla.
