Frozen snacks and chocolate treats brand Skinny Cow has released an extensive diversification of its product portfolio. The Nestlé brand is launching a range of iced coffee drinks, truffle chocolate bars and three new flavours of chocolate-coated ice cream bars for the US market.
The brand’s new iced coffee represents its first venture into the beverages sector and features a blend of rich roasted coffee whipped with milk, offering indulgent flavour at just 120 calories per bottle. It is available in mocha latte, vanilla latte and cappuccino varieties.
Skinny Cow’s chocolate-covered ice cream bars are now available in vanilla almond crunch, double caramel swirl and triple chocolate ripple, all of which are less than 200 calories. The ‘blissful truffle’ chocolate bar will complement the brand’s existing non-frozen range with milk chocolate and dark chocolate varieties, and feature a layer of soft truffle coated in chocolate and amounting to just 130 calories per bar.
Seema Sundar, Skinny Cow’s brand manager, said: “It’s a breakthrough year for Skinny Cow. We are thrilled to be sweetening our already delectable line-up with a contemporary, stylish new look and an entirely new collection of tasty innovations — a new category introduction in iced coffee, a decadent truffle-layered candy bar, and the first-ever low-fat ice cream bar in our category to be fully dipped in rich chocolate.
“Available early 2015, the new Skinny Cow treats will inspire you to turn everyday moments into impossibly good indulgences.”
