Sonoma Creamery has expanded its snack portfolio in the US with new Savory Seed Baked Cheese Toppers.
Made from white cheddar and ten-month aged parmesan, the product also features pumpkin and sunflower seeds.
John Crean, president and CEO of Sonoma Creamery, said: “We are excited about our new Savory Seed Toppers. Perfect to sprinkle on salads, soups, as a crunchy layer in a sandwich, or just to snack on, these Toppers are cheesy, crunchy, keto friendly, gluten free, all natural and have zero sugar.
“Made using ten-month aged parmesan and aged white cheddar, we include organic pumpkin seeds and organic sunflower seeds to create a unique and compelling flavour combination.”
The product is now available at select Costco stores in northern California.
Last year, Sonoma released what it claims are the world’s first crispy cheese-based snack bars. Five flavours are available: parmesan, everything cheddar, savoury seed, pepper jack, and bacon cheddar.
The company also sells a range of cheeses – including mozzarella, crumbled feta, and smoked chili jack – as well as a line of cheese crisps.
