Unilever has announced the launch of 25 new frozen treats in the US, with its Breyers, Good Humor, Klondike, Magnum, Popsicle and Talenti brands.
Breyers products include Chocolate Pretzel Swirl and Double Chocolate Brownie Batter, Breyers Reese’s Peanut Butter Snack Cups, as well as CarbSmart and non-dairy offerings in a wealth of flavours. In addition, Breyers Coconut Fudge Breeze joins its seasonal portfolio.
Good Humor will revive a 90s classic after 30 years off the US market with its Vanilla Vienetta cake.
The latest addition to the Klondike range includes the company’s Wake Me Up Coffee doughnuts, which feature a dark chocolate hardshell with a white confectionery drizzle, and a frozen coffee flavour made with 100% Arabica Colombian coffee.
Magnum Ice Cream extends its indulgent range with Truffle Bars (in dark chocolate, mini berry and double chocolate vanilla) and Red Velvet Tubs – a bakery-inspired treat featuring chocolate ganache sauce, cream cheese ice cream, topped with red velvet cake crumbles and white chocolate pieces, wrapped in a white chocolate shell (made with 33% cacao).
New fruity flavours will appear on the Popsicle menu, with the addition of Mango, Strawberry and Vanilla Swirl Fruit Twisters, as well as Minions and Spider-Man-inspired Popsicles.
Finally, Talenti Gelato & Sorbetto invokes nostalgia with its Gelato Layers range, which includes the following flavours: Confetti Cookie, Strawberry Cheesecake, Cookies and Cream, and Chocolate Pretzel. Talenti will also introduce two new flavours to its Core Gelato line – Honey Graham and Peanut Butter Vanilla Swirl.
“Unilever’s ice cream portfolio includes iconic and beloved brands. When creating new products, we look at key trends and what consumers want in their treats to ensure we’re creating innovative flavours and expanding the variety of product shapes and sizes that our fans will love,” said Russel Lilly, VP, Unilever Ice Cream North America. “We are always looking to develop products that bring joy to ice cream fans everywhere and are excited to launch such a diverse range of new creations this year.”
