Glanbia Nutritionals has released a new pea protein product called BevEdge in the US. Aiming to use its dairy protein expertise in the pea protein market the product mixes with water with ‘unprecedented dispersibility’, the company says.
BevEdge is made from Canadian yellow peas, delivering a high level of protein, while keeping within the clean label trend.
Glanbia’s senior product manager of proteins, Danielle Black spoke with FoodBev Media’s Darren Wood about the pea protein range and what sets it apart from other protein products on the market.
