They are free from lactose, added sugar, saturated fat, gluten, egg, salt, nuts, cholesterol, GM ingredients, vegetable oil, soy, mono-diglycerides, artificial additives, flavours, preservatives and colours.
The range of flavours includes Wasabi Ripple, Chocolate, Raspberry, Wasabi-Lime and Lemon, and more flavours will launch ‘soon’.
“Our team of highly trained experts has discovered that eliminating additives from our Yi iced desserts and sorbets enhanced the natural flavours,” said Jim Mullins, MD of Ronan Foods. “Our customers love them and they are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and diabetics. Yi iced products can also be enjoyed by many people with food intolerances or allergies.”
Michelin-starred chef Chris Horridge is responsible for the product development of the new range of iced desserts and sorbets. Horridge is a regular on cookery programmes such the BBC’s Great British Menu.
