Cadbury has unveiled a new packaging design for its Roses brand of chocolate tubs, and will celebrate its rollout with the introduction of a new variety.
Introduced to satisfy evolving consumer tastes, the new packaging is a closer representation of the historic Roses design than any other design, while still incorporating a modern twist, Cadbury said. It also features an updated carton shape and the reappearance of the “thank you” messaging.
In addition to the design, the chocolate wrapping has been refreshed with a new flow wrap that will prevent chocolates from becoming unwrapped in the tub and affecting the flavour of other varieties. Cadbury has also introduced a new almond caramel bite edition to celebrate all of the changes it is making to its Roses brand.
Cadbury marketing manager Benazir Barlet-Batada said: “We’re constantly evolving our much-loved Cadbury products to deliver the most delicious taste experience for consumers. The new Cadbury Roses design is in direct response to consumer demand, and accompanied by the delicious new almond caramel bite, we’re confident the changes will be incredibly well received.”
