Belvoir Fruit Farms has launched a new sparkling apple pressé that uses the sweetness of grape juice to temper the sharpness of pressed Cox’s apples.
New Cox Apple Pressé also uses the grape juice in place of any added sugar, and is available in 75cl and 25cl bottles for £2.99 and £1.85 respectively. Free from artificial preservatives and additives, it boasts a flavour described as “wonderfully balanced without being overly sweet”.
It joins the brand’s existing cordial and pressé range – including eldeflower pressé, handmade lemonade, rhubarb and strawberry cordial, and ginger beer – which are all made by hand on the company’s UK farm.
It said: “The new Cox Apple Pressé is a first for Belvoir… as it contains no added sugar, and instead, a little grape juice provides the necessary sweetness to temper the natural sharp kick from the real pressed Cox apple juice. There’s really nothing more to it – simply naturally pressed fruit juices mixed with lightly sparkling Belvoir spring water – no sugar, no artificial colouring and no other nasties – resulting in a refreshing, crisply scented Pressé, delicious served chilled over ice.”
